Een Drupal CMS kan tegenwoordig dienen als uitgangspunt voor de website en voor een app. Er zijn ook klanten die het CMS gebruiken om content op schermen te tonen, ook wel 'Narrowcasting' genoemd.

Zo maakt het Theater en Filmhuis de Toneelschuur uit Haarlem reeds gebruik van deze optie. De voorstellingen van vandaag en morgen worden aan de straatkant aan het publiek getoond.
